"Bereavement is about letting go of something that has come to an end. If we cannot do this successfully, we cling on to that which is no longer there and so we are unable to be open to the new, and life cannot be revivified. The picture of Geoffrey Valentine lying there, still, alone, one hand clasping the other, is an attempt to capture the sublime sense that the person has gone although their body remains."

David Stewarts 'Liar' campaign for ITV creative won gold at the recent Promax Awards held in Rome. The gold was won in the 'Best Integrated Marketing Campaign For a Programme' category, with Davids portraits being at the forefront of the campaign.

Over 1,000 images from a selection of photographers will be up for auction to raise money for the Hepatitis C Trust, the images will be on exhibition at the Print Space Shoreditch from 12th - 25th October 2017.
