Roberto Badin
Roberto Badin, born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, now resides in the south of France, working between London Paris .
Producing images that exude a sense of brightness, contrast and graphic shapes, Roberto’s work is both a documentation of the world, as much as a personal reflection on the spaces in which he finds himself. Working in the worlds of fashion and still-life, Roberto has crafted an ability to meticulously construct each stage of an image – asserting that the most important component of a still-life image is the “life” part. The result is an artistic identity that produces thoughtful, yet spontaneous imagery, showcasing an uncommonly clean graphic quality and sophisticated touch across a range of photographic genres .
Roberto has published numerous photo books throughout his career and has work celebrated internationally, having exhibited collections at a plethora institutions and events such as Arles Photography Festival, Yvon Lambert Gallery and Paris Photo Festival. This artistic success has flowed over into the commercial world having lent his abilities to brands such as Cartier, Chivas Regal, Chloe, David Beckham Eyewear, De Beers, Diesel, Fred Jewellery, Heineken, Lacoste, Longchamp, Miu Miu, Moet & Chandon, Pandora, Prada, TAG Heuer, Veuve Clicquot, Vinesim and Yves Saint Laurent.
