Commissioned by Wieden + Kennedy, David Stewart shot a total of three concepts for Heinz, celebrating the warmth and comfort of the Great British icon – Heinz tomato soup. By pairing this iconic British brand with David’s signature quintessentially British, deadpan humour, the result is a humorous, yet relatable set of visuals that have an indistinguishable ‘British’ undertone.

Shot across London in a variety of locations, the team worked to find a series of venues that not only felt authentic to the concepts, but were also relatable in their appearance to tie into the lives of the viewers. This, paired with a casting that focused on finding individuals that could deliver the tongue-in-cheek humour, ensured a final product that showed true British, everyday venues, with true British, everyday people.
