Following on from his ‘Hardware’ campaign for the same brand, Luke Evans photographs Tiffany & Co’s  ‘ICONS’  collection.

Inspired by a series of images from Luke’s personal archive, the campaign explored the jewellery pieces through a series of clean, graphic and scale-warping images. Luke Evans’  ‘Ring’  images (featured in the project below) are the culmination of personal exploration and testing with contemporary simplicity in the world of jewellery. By exploring the pieces more as shapes, than crafted objects, Luke’s imagery pushes the luxury items into a world of the abstract, elevating the items into an art space, whilst ensuring that the focus is still retained on the pieces themselves.

This approach resulted in Tiffany & Co commissioning Luke for his second campaign with the world renowned luxury brand. With creative freedom, the final images replicate that same fine-art quality of Luke’s  ‘Ring’  images. Photographing five pieces in total, Luke’s images implement a series of macro-lenses and focus stacking to warp the sense of scale of each jewellery item and give them a totem-esque structure.
