Celebrating the undeniable success of the ‘Barbie’ motion picture, Rachel shoots actress and “Lawyer Barbie”, Sharon Rooney for the cover of 1883 Magazine. Shot at Henry’s Townhouse, a central London hotel, the shoot celebrated the majesty and luxury of the London based setting.

Working alongside 1883 editor, Kelsey Barnes, and prop-stylist, Ayesha Linton-Whittle, Rachel art directed the shoot to produce a series of images that incorporate the nuances of fantasy and atmosphere that are synonymous with her photographic style. Shot on both film and digital, Rachel also decided to test shoot with some old stock of Fuji fpc, which were gifted to the featured actress after having travelled to London with her mother on the sleeper train from Scotland.

All images were captured before the commencement of the American Actors’ SAG-AFTRA strikes.
